I took my husband on this day out as a part of our trip to celebrate his 60th birthday. It was a wonderful experience and Louis our tour guide was fantastic. Highly recommend

We were really looking forward to doing this tour and it didn't disappoint. It was a fantastic day; highly recommend if you are around Malaga

A great experience, wear good shoes, bring a hat and expect steps! Within the capabilities of most reasonably fit people who don't mind steps up and down. Fabulous scenery, great guiding and overall excellent experience!

The scenery was beautiful. It was way too crowded in the park. Just a long line of people working their way through. Lots of waiting to move forward. Guide wasn’t very interesting.

Brilliant day out. Highlight of the stay for us. Picked up in Malaga at 09.30. Bus was comfy but already has people on from a previous pick up. Some seats either have a faulty recline function or a faulty person sitting in them. Bit close for our liking. Took an hour to get there and Lewis was very funny. Fluent in English and German which was great. The whole organisation was slick and efficient. 20 mins walk from the bus to the start point. Then toilet stop (take tissues as there was no toilet roll). Helmets on and away. Great commentary all of the way around via the ear piece. Good detail and inclusion of personal instances on the route from Lewis really brought it to life. Took about 3 hours max I think to get around. Lots of places to take photos but you do feel that you are moved on at pace (as in you kept moving, not that the pace was fast). Nice cold beer at the end (not expensive). Hour back to Malaga. You really don't realise how high up you are until you are driving back past the route on the way home.

Both tour guides were fantastic and engaging. Good pace for the entire tour, highly recommend unless your scared of heights.

Wonderful trip, our guide Luis was excellent. Our caminito guide was Lily and she was very informative. The scenery was spectacular and the walk was easier than I'd expected.

This was an incredibly worthwhile experience! We were picked up in Malaga and given a lot of interesting information about the region (in both english and german) during the drive. We stopped in a town along the way where we could get food or snacks if we wished. Once we arrived to the nature park, we were split up by language and assigned guides for the hike. Our guide was excellent and had a lot of fascinating facts and history about the Caminito Del Rey and wildlife in the area. The hike itself was excellent and took about 2 hours to complete. It was not very difficult. There were some inclines and stairs, but it was mostly flat and a very well maintained trail. The views were great! At the end of the hike, there is a picnic area with several vendors of food, drink, and souvenirs. We brought our own food because we didn't realize there would be so many options. We got about 45 minutes to relax and eat and then got back on the bus to return to the pick up point. Tip: The radios work pretty well in general but if you end up with mountain between you and the guide - such as if you are far back and they go around a mountain corner - the radio could cut out. So if you value learning about the area, stay closer to the guide because the second half of the hike has more twisty areas where the radio is likely to have issues with interference from the mountain. I would recommend this to anyone.

Plan for this as there’s so many journeys to take account of before you get there. And if you can, take a packed lunch as food is limited in el churro town. We went with the guided tour option but struggled to hear the guide through the earphones. It was a great experience however.

We were considering driving ourselves, but the bus was a better choice. Less struggle with parking and getting around the park as parking is in a different place than beginning and end of trail. The hike was not that demanding. It was on the longer side, but we had a lot of stops to catch breath. At the end of the hike you'll reach souvenir, dining and ice-cream area. It has some options (burgers, fries), but we packed our lunch with us. Recommendations: - Grab with you a power bar, nuts or other hiking food - Take your own wired headphones. The once given for the guided tour were so-so.
